Scienctific interest:biology and systematics of the African Lasiocampidae

Was born 17. December 1986 in Baku, Azerbaijan S.S.R. - USSR.
I entered middle school of Uryupinsk, Russia, in 1993 and in 2004 I finished school ā„– 53 of Uljanovsk there I was learned in a special class with medicine profile. In the same 2004 I entered The State Pedagogical University of Uljanovsk, Faculty of Biology, on the specialty ā€œBiology and Chemistryā€. Now I am a graduate student of the University and working under Diploma project ā€œThe Lasiocampidae of Africaā€ since 2005 under curatorship of Dr. Vadim V. Zolotuhin (Department of Zoology).

During my scientific work under the Lasiocampidae of Africa, most biggest European collections were examined myself (Zoological Museum of Moscow State University; Koninklijk Belgisch Instituut voor Natuurwetenschappen (Bruxelles, Belgique) [Institut royal des Sciences naturelles de Belgique], MusĆ©e des Confluences of Lyon; Museum d'histoire naturelle, Geneve, Switzerland; Museum National d'Histoire Naturelle, Paris; Museum Royal of African Congo, Tervuren, Belgien; entomologisches Museum Witt, Munich; Naturhistorisches Museum Wien; Transvaal Museum, Pretoria; Staatliches Museum fĆ¼r Naturkunde Stuttgart; Zoologisches Forschungsinstitut und Museum Alexander Koenig, Bonn; Zoologisches Museum der Humboldt UniversitƤt zu Berlin; Zoologische Staatssammlung, MĆ¼nchen) as well as some typical specimens were investigated from the collection of The Natural History Museum of London.

For the studying of the African Lasiocampidae, the following expeditions were already undertaken: April-May 2007 ā€“ South Africa and January-February 2008 ā€“ Democratic Republic of Congo.
I am a scholarship holder of Thomas-Witt-Stiftung in 2005, 2006 and 2007.
